PhiloFund is a donor-intelligence platform built with cause matching, giving portfolio management, and reporting in one place.

Hola {{first_name}},

Big news. Our beta is officially closed, and our nonprofit cohort has been chosen. These are the organizations that will be part of the very first version of PhiloFund, and I could not be more excited to build alongside them.

Now the next step. We are turning to donors.

Why we need you right now

We are reaching out to donors to request signed letters of intent to join our beta. This is your chance to be one of the first people to give through PhiloFund, and to help shape what this platform becomes.

Here is why this moment matters more than ever.

Candid, the leading source of nonprofit data, just published two pieces of research that explain exactly why PhiloFund needs to exist.

The first is about Gen Z. New research from GoFundMe and GivingTuesday shows Gen Z already gives at higher rates than older generations, across every form of giving measured. Over 70% of Gen Z gave in some form in the past week. They volunteer more, advocate more, and share causes on social media 10 times more than boomers do. But their giving looks different. It is personal, immediate, and driven by relationships and stories, not brand names. Most giving tools were not built for this. PhiloFund was.

The second is about trust. Candid's research shows that nonprofit funding data is often out of date by up to two years, because that is how long the IRS takes to publish tax filings. Nearly 60% of U.S. nonprofits are small enough that their filings do not even require funding information. That gap creates real harm. Donors assume a nonprofit is hiding something when really the nonprofit is just small and under-resourced, exactly the kind of organization PhiloFund exists to lift up. A real time platform, where nonprofits control their own story and donors can see current, accurate information, is not a nice to have. It is overdue.

Gen Z is already giving. Small nonprofits are already doing the work. What has been missing is the infrastructure to connect them with clarity and trust. That is what we built.

If you are a donor who wants more intention behind every dollar, sign up here.

We will let everyone know if they have been chosen to participate by the end of this month.

Meet Some of Our Beta Nonprofits

A huge thank you to every organization that said yes to building this with us. Here are a few of the incredible nonprofits in our first cohort.

Alianza Center serves the Puerto Rican and Hispanic communities of Central Florida, building leadership around the environment, healthy living, arts and culture, and civic engagement. Born out of the response to Hurricane Maria, they now reach over 14,000 people across 12 counties.

Women's Impact Leadership Initiative works to develop and elevate women leaders, giving them the tools, community, and support to grow their impact in their organizations and communities.

Melanin Mothers Meet supports Black mothers and families through pregnancy, postpartum care, and beyond. They create safe spaces for women of color to be supported educationally, emotionally, and spiritually, so both mothers and babies can thrive.

And more organizations are joining this cohort every week.
