Giving/Charity/Philanthropy (whatever you wanna call it) is one of the largest, most meaningful categories of money movement in the world, and yet donors have no real tools built for them. No way to set giving goals. No way to track their investment over time. No way to confidently find the right organizations. We have personal finance apps for every corner of our financial lives, except the part where we give back.
That gap is what PhiloFund is here to close. And our mission is clear: bring $1 billion in donations to nonprofits that need it most.
Where I've been
Like most founder journeys, mine hasn't been a straight line. I spent much of 2025 building alongside a co-founder in the New York tech ecosystem, and while we parted ways amicably in the fall, that chapter gave me clarity. It pushed me to sharpen the vision, lean into my own expertise, and build something that truly reflects the problem I've been closest to for over a decade.
Since then, I've been heads down refining the platform, building out our technical foundation, and deepening my work through the Building Our Tech Launchpad Accelerator here in Florida. The product is more focused, the positioning is clearer, and I'm more excited about where this is going than I've ever been.
What PhiloFund actually is
PhiloFund is the first personal finance tool built for givers.
Think of it as the fintech layer philanthropy has never had, a platform that helps everyday donors and high-net-worth givers alike set giving goals, discover vetted nonprofits, track their real-world impact, and optimize their giving for tax efficiency. On the supply side, nonprofits, especially the small and mid-sized organizations closest to the problems and furthest from the funding, finally get the visibility they deserve.
